Katy Trail

BDD provided structural and civil engineering services for Phase II of this master planned hike and bike trail that traces the greenbelt along the former track lines of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (Katy) Railroad. BDD developed plans for a 12’-wide concrete biking trail and a parallel 6’-wide concrete jogging trail along with pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, a pedestrian mall, and overlooks at American Airlines Center, Reverchon Park, and Lee Park.
